I am in the process of student teaching now and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Next will be job hunting! Brewing has been going full force since I last made an entry on to this page. Let's see,I've brewed a Witbier and an Irish Red Ale. However, I split both of my five gallon batches in half and added cherry puree to the other halves. So I have four different beers to drink. The Pumpkin Brew-off is in full swing with Rob and I both having our ales in the secondary. I made an Imperial Pumpkin Ale at 8.9% alc./vol. I tasted a little of the uncarbonated ale and it has a definite alcohol taste. I hope it mellows out with age. I need to get my labels on the wiki so that you can see them. We get a lot of positive feedback about our labels and Rob and I are proud of them and appreciate all the nice things we hear. I'm looking forward to making some great beer this winter and spring. I think another summer beer brewing session is in order. Hopefully by the next time you see an entry on this page, I will be employed! Happy brewing everyone!
Jeff
